And, sometimes, we even run specials at the shows. Nevertheless, if you are seriously considering purchasing an item from us at a show, please advise us of such 4-6 weeks before the show to ensure we have the item available for you. Any discounts we're offering at the show will indeed apply.

What's more, we generally have original, vintage examples of most of the products we make so you can compare and witness our quality in person.

New Product Release: 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T Hood Scoop Chrome Trim

1967 DODGE R/T HOOD LOUVER CHROME TRIM  I luv my '67!  Now available are brand new zinc die cast reproductions of the four bezels used on the 1967 Coronet R/T hood scoop produced from our brand new hard tooling. Why try to refinish commonly pitted originals or wait the rest of your life trying to locate NOS ones when you can have these for just $189 for the set? Featuring the correct satin chrome top, bright chrome leading edge and satin black recesses, these bezels are sure to please even the most discriminating Hemi owner. Plastic scoop itself is in development, FYI.

  • AAR 'CUDA & T/A CHALLENGER WINDSHIELD WASHER SQUIRTERS 10/1/04: Now available on a limited basis are concours quality, metal, fully-functioning reproductions of the special squirters used on the fiberglass hoods of the 1970 AAR & T/A. Of course, these squirters are also a factory-looking solution for the treatment of windshield squirters for any fiberglass hood that's added to a 1970-74 E-Body or 1971-74 B-Body. For pictures and ordering, see the Windshield Washer System Components section in the Online Catalog section of this website.

  • VENT & HEATER CABLES  The '68-70 B & E-Body vent cables with the pull handle are done and available (4/21/04). We are still working on the '68-70 C-Body along with the '71-74 B & E-Body. A complete product line of under and behind dash cables for '60's and '70's A, B, C & E-Bodies is in development and parts will be released as they are finished.  Also in the works are Hood Release Cables for A, B, C, E and Trucks too!




  • 1967 DODGE R/T HOOD LOUVER CHROME TRIM  I luv my '67!  The prototype is done (shown with bright chrome finish) and you may see it at the Mopar Nationals in August. We're now working on replicating the original satin finish--ever seen an unadulterated, original one?  Well, that's what they were. Production release is now scheduled for Nov. '04 and they will be worth the wait. Plastic scoop itself is in R&D too. 




  • CONCOURS 1969-72 A & B BODY TWIN HOOD SCOOPS IN PLASTIC  A perfect mate to our chrome bezels released in 2002. Release TBA.




  • NEW PREMIUM WINDOW WEATHER STRIPS Look for many more releases in 2003 spanning the dates of 1955-1984 for all body styles. If you need belt weatherstrip and we're not listing it, send us an e-mail. We just might need your set for a master and we'll supply you a set for free if that's the case. Continuous Release.

REAR SPOILERS IN ORGANSOL BLACK FINISH!  After years of fielding questions of "what's the correct, original paint for my rear spoiler?" First Place Auto Products has come to the rescue to offer READY TO INSTALL rear spoilers in the original finish. Organsol black (the original name) also known as 'black suede' or 'black argent' is the original finish for all the 1970-71 rear spoilers including the pedestal wings and the T/A & AAR spoilers. We have perfected the finish. Our fully primed, ready to paint spoilers continue to be offered for the majority of buyers who desire to paint their own spoiler the way they want it.

The following new products are available now and ready for purchase.

  • CONCOURS 1970 WING  Finally, and we can't stress that enough, finally, into a sea of reproduction 1970 wings (seems like every fiberglass company in the world has made these), First Place Auto Products has come through with the very best. Three years of R&D, three prototype runs, and more money spent than we may ever recover on this project (ouch!), has rewarded the marketplace with a true concours, show-winning 1970 Wing. This wing is constructed of an ABS based thermoplastic (a proprietary blend) and is molded in gray (as original). It's not fiberglass. No original Mopar wings were ever made of fiberglass. This two-piece wing (as original) derives its rigid stability from the material itself (as original) instead of some secondary support such as a metal rod or foam used in others' wings. And it's not light weight, it's the right weight...at over 8 lbs!  It's available now in packages for all of the original A, B, and E-Body applications.  INTRODUCTORY PRICED at $339 for the wing and stanchion assembly and just $379 for the complete assembly with all decklid mounting hardware for a given application. 
  • UNDERDECK SPOILER REINOFRCEMENT "CUT-OUT" TEMPLATES   For car owners who want to properly (and we strongly encourage doing it properly) add a rear spoiler to a decklid that was not factory stamped with the proper "cut-outs" to accept the wing reinforcement mounting brackets, we now offer templates to fit the underside of the decklid exactly and indicate the precise area of sheetmetal to remove to achieve a factory fit (and a professional installation). These will prove more helpful on some applications than others (Barracuda and Duster/Demon/Dart Sport owners will be particularly happy) as some applications do not use "cut-outs" to accept the reinforcement bracket. Look for more details in the on-line catalog. Priced @ $30/pr. 
  • UNDERDASH VENT CABLES  100% brand new, square handled, vent cables are now available for 1968-70 B & E Body applications. Cables are available separately so you only have to replace what's broken or missing. Correct "VENT" lettering. Introductory priced at $45 each.    



NEW PRODUCT RELEASE: F-Body (Aspen/Volare) front spoilers are now available!

This new spoiler exactly reproduces the material, fit, and appearance of the 1976-77 F-Body three-piece front spoiler. It is molded in black ABS plastic as original. It is supplied as a complete kit (or components may be ordered seperately) that includes original-style mounting fasteners, including the special mounting brackets, rivets, bolts, nuts, and screws. It can also be addes to any 1978-80 F-Body without difficulty though the material differes from an original of this particular vintage. If you have an F-Body of any body style and you want to dress it up, you can't beat the added eye appeal for the money. Part number FP160 is the complete kit. As always, satisfaction is guaranteed at First Place Auto Products. Want to see one of our  products installed?, check out this link: http://fbody.kicks-ass.net:8000/frontspoiler.html
